This is Hitarth’s third stint as an intrapreneur in a startup. Prior to his role at Freo,

sleep solutions needs, offered at an affordable price with premium quality. He, along with Co-
founder Ankit Garg, has ensured that Wakefit.co’s products are a result of in-depth interactions with
customers and extensive R&D. Their decision to set up in-house manufacturing to control quality,
costs, and price are a result of this customer-centric DNA. By virtue of its growing stature in the
market, Wakefit.co has now raised three rounds of funding, the latest one being a Series C round of
INR 200 Cr, led by SIG and participation from existing investors, Verlinvest, and Sequoia Capital India
in November 2021.
Chaitanya has spearheaded several innovative marketing campaigns, most significantly the viral
Wakefit Sleep Internship campaign in 2019. The company had also sent a Wakefit mattress to PM

Paul is a regular conference speaker, publisher of email Type E:, author of the Beyond the Envelope™ blog and a recognised global advocate of accessibility in email.
